Greetings GMCG Friends,

We want to thank all those who joined us Tuesday evening for our 2025 Watershed Celebration! It was wonderful to see the support our community has for the work we do, and to gather as a group in honoring the volunteers responsible for so much of our success.

We extend congratulations and gratitude to Ron Adams of Ossipee. Serving on the GMCG Board and Land Trust Committee, Ron is the recipient of this year’s High Watch Award for his exemplary volunteer service and the dedication he has made to the Ossipee Watershed.

The event featured short thank you addresses from GMCG’s leadership and staff members highlighting the programs, projects, challenges, and successes over the past year.

GMCG is deeply grateful to our volunteer community including everyone who either participates in programs, helps test water, provides financial support, and helps spread the word about our mission and the work we do! Thank you!

Thanks to The Preserve at Chocorua for donating the barn space to hold the event for the fourth year in a row. Thanks to Jordan for staffing the bar! Thanks to our event planning committee members including Noreen Downs, Karen Payne, and Peaco Todd for their teamwork in executing this event along side GMCG staff. Thanks again to Karen Payne for creating the beautiful flower displays.

Thanks to our board and committee members who brought potluck items to create a generous and delicious buffet. Thanks to Taylor Whiteside for providing live music and a delightful atmosphere.
