The new Thomas H. Carpenter Preserve was gifted to GMCG in 2006. The 148 acre parcel of land in Freedom features important wildlife habitat, forests, watershed protection and unusual geology.
The mission of GMCG is to promote an awareness of and appreciation for clean water and the wise use of shared natural resources across the Ossipee Watershed and advocate strategies to protect them.
