Earth Day at GMCG – Tree planting & Guided Nature Exploration
On Tuesday, April 22 from 3:30-4:30pm, for children ages 5-12.
This Earth Day, children ages 5-12 are invited to join GMCG to celebrate at our conservation center with a fun, educational program after school and learn about trees on Earth Day! We will explore the forest, river and pond on a guided nature walk with a scavenger hunt and trail games, and children will plant their own tree to take home.
Children and their caregivers are welcome to participate; please fill out the registration form below so we know how many participants to expect. Dress appropriately for the weather and with proper footwear. Our conservation center, Blue Heron House, is located at 236 Huntress Bridge Road, Effingham.
