Lake water quality volunteer monitor

VLAP volunteer (monthly May-August): On behalf of the Ossipee Lake system, GMCG conducts lake monitoring monthly throughout the summer as part of NHDES Volunteer Lake Assessment Program (VLAP). This program monitors for multiple parameters at each lake/bay’s deep spot which are used to evaluate the lake’s health. Volunteers should be ready to be on a boat for long periods of time (5-6 hours) with limited bathroom breaks. Sampling typically occurs monthly on a Monday or a Tuesday towards the start of the month. If interested in participating, please contact Jill at water@gmcg.org.

Boat donations for this program are always needed.
